Third year of MGEM Orientation

The third year of the MGEM program will start with orientation in UBC’s Forest Sciences Centre on Tue August 27, 2019. Our third cohort includes 31 students from Canada, China, the Netherlands, Nigeria, USA and Zimbabwe, continuing a tradition of diversity among MGEM students, faculty and teaching assistants as reflected in this new map. Incoming MGEMers represent a mix of recent graduates and mid-career professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including Forestry, Geography, Environmental Science, Biology, Computer Science, Chemical and Biological Engineering, and Economics – we’re very excited to welcome the class of 2020 in a just a few weeks!
